About Shahram Sharif

Shahram Sharif is a pioneering force in technology journalism, currently heading the Technology desk at Fardaye-eqhtesad, a video media platform founded in 2022 by notable journalists including Shahram himself. Fardaye-eqhtesad represents a visionary endeavor in capturing and shaping the discourse around technology and the economy of tomorrow.

Before this venture, Shahram was instrumental in leading the Technology team at Donya-e-Eqtesad daily, a printed media outlet, from 2005 until 2021. Here, he spearheaded significant advancements in technology journalism.

Shahram embarked on his journalism journey in 1997, making substantial contributions to major newspapers like Hamshahri, Khordad, Fath, and Hambastegi. His work set new standards in technology reporting across Iran.

In 1999, he introduced the first Computer and Mobile page in the daily Abrar-e-Eqtesadi, marking a significant innovation in Iran’s local media, and later replicated this at Donya-e-Eqtesad in 2003. As editor-in-chief of Bozorgra-e-Fanavri weekly magazine in 2005, he showcased his editorial prowess.

Additionally, Shahram launched Itiran.com, the first Farsi (Persian) Information Technology news website in Iran that year, which continues to be a trusted source in the technology sector.

Shahram’s “TAKSHAKH” series, started in 2018 and continuing as a major feature on Fardaye-eqhtesad, illuminates the stories of leading Iranian startup entrepreneurs, highlighting the country’s vibrant startup ecosystem.

Apart from his journalistic achievements, Shahram is also an acclaimed Iranian mobile photographer and has directed several short films. His career spans the spectrum of technology expertise, entrepreneurial storytelling, and creative expression in both print and video media.
